Why Cotton Swim?

Traditional swimwear typically begins with synthetic fibers. We wanted to explore a different approach.

As we looked for ways to reduce the amount of plastic in our everyday lives, we began asking the same question about the fabrics we wear closest to our skin. The Conscious Coast is our answer: crafted from 98% cotton with Oeko-Tex® certified cotton yarn and dyes for a naturally soft, breathable feel with minimal synthetic fibers against the body.

Bought this bikini due to

"Bought this bikini due to its high natural fiber composition (98% cotton). Loved the material, top is very flattering and the bottoms provided the right amount of coverage. Bikini did not feel heavy when wet which can usually be expected with cotton swimsuits. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the strings. They are extremely thin and cut into you. It's uncomfortable and if you are busty, it can become very painful since it digs into your neck. For now I am wearing the top reversed until I can find thicker brown bikini strings to replace the current ones."
